HOW TO EDIT STRINGS IN A JAR FILE?

First step to crack a jar file is to edit strings (texts) in it.
In this tutorial i will explain you how can you edit any text in a jar file. For convenience i will edit mig33 lite version.

Objective
To modify the pop up message box and add http://www.xyz.com in it.

Requirements:

mig33 lite version (download from http://www.mig33.com)
Winrar (download from http://www.win-rar.com/download.html)
Class Editor (download from http://classeditor.sourceforge.net)
class editor itself is a jar file so you also need java run time environment (JRE)to run this file you can download JRE from http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

Step By Step instructions

Install all the softwares mentioned above
Right click on mig33.jar and exract to mig33 folder
You can see various class files in extracted folder. We will work around h.class file.
Open command prompt and write >> java -jar "c:\path\to\class\editor\ce.jar"
Class editor is open now. Now open h.class in class editor.
In the right top corner of class editor you can see a green button, press it to turn modify mode on
In
the second tab you can see "Constant pool", here you can see various
Strings or String representation of classes. Your duty is to search
"Logging in..." first. you can find it easy by scrolling down . when you
find it select it. When you select it you can see String value in Value
text box. you can edit it . write "logging in... http://www.xyz.com"
press
modify button then save it. You can also find "Downloading contact
list..." in the same file and edit it in same way.(If you select a
string and don't see its value in value box then press Go button in
right bottom corner, you should be able to see it now)
file is
edited and saved now. You can also edit other files in same way but
before doing this you should check whether your work is done properly or
not.You can check it by packing all files in mig33 folder. Open mig33
folder, select all files, right click any file then press "Add to
archive" , select zip instead of rar, name it mig33 and save it. now
rename mig33.zip into mig33.jar and you are done now. Open newly created
mig33 with sjboy (or in phone) and login it. you should see edited
strings in pop up message box of logging in.. and downloading contact
list...
